POSITION: Principal Clerk Typist (NY HELPS) - 12 Month
SALARY: $20.01/Hour
PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ATTRIBUTES AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Thorough knowledge of modern office terminology, procedures and equipment; thorough knowledge of business arithmetic and English; thorough knowledge of the organization and functions to which assigned; good knowledge of methods of maintaining and checking financial accounts and records; ability to plan, supervise and review the work of clerical personnel; ability to operate a micro-computer and/or computer terminal; ability to type from clear copy or rough draft at reasonable rate of speed and a high degree of accuracy; ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions; ability to work and communicate with staff and the public; clerical aptitude; sound judgment; dependability; initiative and resourcefulness; neatness; tact and courtesy; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. Ability to get along with the public and work independently.
