Strong background working with Students with Disabilities in a primary self-contained setting
Ability to create CCLS aligned lesson plans and implement specially designed instruction for students at the Elementary level
Exemplary skills in using various technologies

Extensive knowledge of systematic phonics instruction
Outstanding ability to create accommodations to meet students unique needs
Experience developing comprehensive Individual Education Plans
Experience designing individual and class-wide behavior interventions
Ability to implement specially designed instruction
Knowledge of explicit direct instruction
Willing to receive TCIS certification
Other duties as assigned
A valid NYS Teaching Certification in Special Education 1-6 and Birth - grade 2
