Oversee student behavior management using proactive and restorative justice practices

Partner with counselors, social workers, and teachers to support students' social-emotional learning (SEL) needs.

Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities and clubs

Assist the building principal with teacher support and development through professional development opportunities and the observation/evaluation process

Assist with District and Building Safety

Oversee student supervision during critical routines (arrival, dismissal, cafeteria, and hallways)

Implement the Code of Conduct (Updating and Designing Instruction)

Effectively communicate information to staff, students, families, and the community

Makes decisions in a timely fashion, maximizes decision effectiveness by follow-up actions

Assist in overseeing the planning and implementation of Summer School programming

Be a contributing member and facilitate, where and when necessary, the MTSS Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Teams

Assume a leadership role for the planning, implementation, and execution of the Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS)

Participate in teacher professional development sessions

Considers research findings and approaches, alternatives, and consequences in the decision-making process

Places an emphasis on student achievement and social-emotional well-being as the primary outcomes of school

Develops systems to routinely assess and monitor student progress

Be an active member of the school community

Participate in District-wide planning initiatives
