Job Description

The role of the In-School Suspension Supervisor is to: 

• Support Cleveland Hill Middle and High School’s instructional program by supervising and supporting the In-School Suspension room.

• Oversee data entry and report creation for Office Disciplinary Referrals and other Tier 1 data points. 

• Develop and support an organized, structured classroom environment that promotes positive behaviors in the ISS room. 

• Communicate effectively with building administration, the student support team, and the classroom teachers on instructional needs, assignment completion, and behaviors for students in the ISS room. 

• Work with district and building administration to ensure the accuracy of the data provided for State reports (VADIR, Attendance, etc.).

• Any other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the building or district administration

Preferences given to candidates with:

•  Experience with  PowerSchool and other data management systems for data entry and report development.

Must be NYS Teacher Assistant or Teacher Certified
